Actor Lynn Red Williams
Jax in Mortal
Kombat Annihilation.
Actor Lynn Red Williams plays the baddest man on the planet,
Jax in the feature film Mortal Kombat Annihilation.
He was "Sabre" for many years on the hit tv series "American
Gladiators". He joins us this evening here at mortalkombat.com
to chat with the fans.

feel?
Lynn Red Williams: The arms were hot and weighted about
40 lbs total.

of websites, that you were, at one time, Sabre of the American
Gladiators. Is this true?
Lynn Red Williams: Yes I was Sabre for 5 seasons on American
Gladiators.

Lynn Red Williams: I sure hope so!

or did you have a stuntman?
Lynn Red Williams: I did everything except for one air
ramp throw that they wouldn't let me do for fear of injury.

Lynn Red Williams: Yes, I did. We spent 6 months on the
film, so there were times when all of us were irritable at one
time or another.

Lynn Red Williams: I was born in Omaha Nebraska, but
I've been in Los Angeles for almost all of my life.

the action with the arms being that heavy?
Lynn Red Williams: It was very awkward.

Lynn Red Williams: Every day was like an international
convention, since people came from all over the world. Because
of the different locations, I was in several different countries.

movie and have you been in any other movies?
Lynn Red Williams: I just finished "LA Gang Godfather".

Lynn Red Williams: I have my own fighting style, it's
called "Body Warfare".

Lynn Red Williams: I've been bald for about 7 years.

Lynn Red Williams: The arms were made of latex, fiberglass,
batteries, and wires.

Lynn Red Williams: Yes.

Lynn Red Williams: Yes, they were very heavy.

Lynn Red Williams: I liked the Motaro fight, because
I had more input, and I wish they hadn't cut it up so bad.

Lynn Red Williams: Thailand, if we hadn't been there
for 3 months. But I would fly back there just to go shopping.

Lynn Red Williams: Yes, but my kids beat me so much that
I'd rather just choke them.

Lynn Red Williams: It was freezing. Maybe in the 30's,
and they had on skimpy clothes.

Lynn Red Williams: No, I wasn't the voice on the cartoon.

sure they'll have to put me in it.

Lynn Red Williams: They let me adlib, so it was like
talking to somebody that I knew.

Lynn Red Williams: No, everybody is scared of everybody.

extensive martial arts training. What kind of martial arts have
you studied..if any?
Lynn Red Williams: Tang Soo Do, but I also have my own
style.

damaged when you were fighting Cyrax?
Lynn Red Williams: Yes, we had a couple sets of arms.
We had a fighting set and a "pretty" set.

Lynn Red Williams: I had 2 stunt men. In England he was
a british gladiator, and in Thailand he was a friend of the
stunt coordinator.

Lynn Red Williams: I liked everything about every piece
of MK entertainment, from the video games, to the TV show, to
the movie.

Lynn Red Williams: Yeah, that was another one of my adlibs.

Lynn Red Williams: Yes, no protein powders, no steroids,
no vitamins, just hard work, no liquor, no cigarettes, no drugs.

Lynn Red Williams: No, because her husband is pretty
tough.

Lynn Red Williams: Sandra Hess (Sonya Blade). We worked
together every day, even when I was tired she made it fun.

Lynn Red Williams: Everything. Stand up, striking, grappling,
involuntary reflex sensors.

Lynn Red Williams: No, I got along with everybody.

Lynn Red Williams: Yes, I was in line opening day.

Lynn Red Williams: We kicked around with each other every
day. I used to like to play with a guy named Kimall Uden. He
played the back of the horse for Motaro. His style was Capoeira.

Lynn Red Williams: Of course I'm going to give the writers
my opinion, but I'm in it, I like it.

killed Mileena?
Lynn Red Williams: It was very weird, I felt stupid.

Lynn Red Williams: Right now I have a couple of different
projects I'm trying to get done.

Lynn Red Williams: I think that's cool, supporting your
school.

Lynn Red Williams: It was computer animation.

Lynn Red Williams: A mystery man. If I told you I'd have
to make you disappear.

a directors cut of MKA in which an edited scene has you fighting
against Scorpion...is this true?
Lynn Red Williams: I cant tell you.

take and who is your teacher?
Lynn Red Williams: My teacher was a buddy I grew up with,
we work out together. And since we fight all the time, he always
brings something new to the table just like I do. So we're constantly
learning.

sports while you were in school? If so...what did you play?
Lynn Red Williams: I played every sport when I was young.
Football, baseball, basketball, track, I was a lowrider.

Lynn Red Williams: That's why my name is Red from now
on in every movie. It's L. Red Williams.

Lynn Red Williams: No MKC is in a different time. (500
years in the past)

Lynn Red Williams: I've been married more than 1 year
and less than 20.

Lynn Red Williams: She's a very funny girl, and every
time she comes to town she calls.

Lynn Red Williams: No, actually I was the king of both
of the high schools I went to.

Lynn Red Williams: I just filmed a couple episodes of
Night Man, also a TV show called Sons of Thunder, and I'm up
for a couple movies that I won't give you the titles to so I
don't give them free publicity in case I don't get it.

Lynn Red Williams: I'll be setting up an address real
